‘Volunteers Needed’

PostHeaderIcon Picnic

The annual KCA picnic for community dues-payers is coming up, Saturday June 12th starting at 4pm. Click on the “Events” tab on the home page to RSVP and get more information. I could use some help with set-up, so if you can help, please call Ginger. Thanks!

PostHeaderIcon Community Yard Sale

The community yard sale will be held on Saturday, April 25th this year. If you are interested in selling items, please contact Jacki Macko. There is a $10 fee per household participating (strictly enforced) which covers the cost of advertising in both the Capital and Pennysaver. The sale will begin at 8am but typically cars are circling much earlier, and buyers are eager to take your old stuff off your hands! The baked good table is usually a good fundraiser, but we need at least one volunteer to man the table (Jacki will get volunteers to bake and donate the goods.) A flyer will be circulated in the near future with more details, so please watch for that. For more immediate information, contact Jacki Macko at 612 Kensington.

PostHeaderIcon Rec Cleanup!

Please come out and join us on Sunday, March 28th, at 9am to clean up the rec area and (hopefully) the beach. Bring any non-power yard equipment you may have, even if it’s only a rake. The more volunteers we can get, the faster the cleanup will be. The dump is open that day and we will need pick-up trucks to haul debris if you can help in that regard. There will be pizza and refreshments afterwards. For more information, contact Dan Zyla or Ginger Reeves.

PostHeaderIcon Picnic Help

We need help setting up the party tent and bringing tables, grill and generator to the picnic site June 6. If anyone can lend some muscle, or a pick-up truck, please call Brent or Ginger at 410-975-0955.

Thank you.

PostHeaderIcon GSPC Volunteer

We need a volunteer to represent our community at the GSPC meetings. The meetings are typically held at the Severna Park Library on the evening of the 2nd Tuesday of the month and last approximately 1.5 hours. For more information on the council, visit their website at www.gspcouncil.org. Click on the calendar tab for guest speakers for specific meetings.
